隨著智慧應用、AIoT 與邊緣設備的快速發展,嵌入式系統已成為資安攻擊的新焦點。全球資安政策如 NIST 的 Secure by Design 架構、美國 CMMC 與 FAR CUI 等,也逐步將資安要求延伸至硬體層與供應鏈源頭。

With the rapid expansion of AIoT and edge devices, embedded systems have become prime targets for cybersecurity threats. Global regulations such as NIST’s Secure by Design framework, the U.S. CMMC and FAR CUI are pushing security requirements down to the hardware and supply chain level.

Enova at GSA TECH Summit: Mitigate Cybersecurity Risk of AI/ML Advanced Capabilities

We sincerely thank all our partners for your participation in the GSA TECH Summit, held by the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) on July 1, 2025 in San Jose, California, USA.

At this prominent tech summit, Robert Wann, CEO of Enova Technology Corporation, was invited as a keynote speaker to discuss the cybersecurity risks brought by the rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies.

As AI/ML technologies continue to advance, the cybersecurity landscape is becoming increasingly complex and dynamic. To effectively mitigate risks and exposures of business assets, adequate security controls of NIST SP800-171R2 are advised.

  1. Malicious misuse of AI/ML technologies.
  2. Precision-targeted social engineering attacks including Deepfake.
  3. Automated cyberattacks and botnet orchestration.
  4. Hard-to-detect malware, ransomware, and APTs.
  5. Internal data leakage risks from the use of LLMs (Large Language Models).

🛡️ Defense and Mitigation Strategies

  1. Security should be a bake-in at the starting phase of a system development life cycle that leads to a comprehensive System Security Plan (SSP).
  2. Chief executives should be commanding and making adequate budget for cybersecurity initiative.
  3. If possible, practice all basic and derivative security controls of NIST SP800-171 Rev. 2 to safeguard all corporate assets.
